A'ja Wilson Makes History with Dominant Performance
A'ja Wilson etched her name into the WNBA history books on Saturday, becoming the first player ever to record at least 30 points and 20 rebounds in a single game. The Las Vegas Aces star achieved the milestone in a thrilling 94-86 victory over the Connecticut Sun.
With less than a minute remaining, Wilson secured her 20th rebound of the night, grabbing a miss from Sun guard Saniya Rivers and immediately passing the ball to teammate Chelsea Gray. Wilson finished the game with an astounding stat line of 32 points, 20 rebounds, and five assists. Her 20 rebounds nearly matched the entire Connecticut team's total of 23.
